Bhawana

This is an outstanding series of single episode teledramas woven into one unit, through the common thread of meditation. For the purpose of this work, 15 renowned short stories have been selcted from world classics. But they are presented as adaptations that are effectively integrated into the social fabric of Sri Lanka. The primary concern of each of these episodes, is the exploration of the manner in which human needs get adapted when people face the reality of life. The term ‘meditation’ has been given to the whole series, since each episode is symbolic of the spiritual aspect of life. In each, there is a reflection of the deeper meaning of human existence.
