Veda Hamine

Kamal, a wealthy aristocratic businessman becomes a drunkard knowing he is dying of cancer. A friend (Sriyantha) takes him to a traditional ayurvedhic doctor(Weda Mahattaya), who cures him. After being cured, Kamal returns to Colombo and indulges in drinking and smoking and gets a recurrent cancer attack. Kamal returns to “Weda Mahattaya” to find that the Weda Mahatttaya is dead and gone. Kamal is scared of death this time. He begs Weda Mahattaya’s pretty daugher,’Weda Hamine’ (Rebecca Nirmalee) to cure him. She takes up the challenge. The story is about a top businessman and a rural “Weda Hamine”.
