Bhagya

While in a bloody encounter with terrorists, a soldier named ‘Sisira’ (Ranjan Ramanayake) gets fatally wounded and rushed in to a hospital. There, a lady doctor named ‘Bhagya’ (Ramani Bartholomeusz) does a miracle and saves his life. It doesn’t take long to be revealed that these two people were very close to each other in a distant past. This sudden twist takes the teledrama into a flashback.

Sisira and Bhagya were special friends in their school days. Sisira even helps Bhagya in her studies. When Sisira’s parents found out this little relationship, things start to go really wrong and, ultimately, Bhagya’s family leaves the town. After many years, the rivals face each other, but not really as rivals this time.
